Job summary

Ngai Chin Construction Pte Ltd in Singapore is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead interior fit-out and renovation projects from planning to completion. You will coordinate subcontractors, manage budgets, and ensure quality of works across on-site activities.

The role requires at least 3 years in construction or interior fit-out, strong planning and problem-solving skills, and the ability to read architectural drawings.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience as a Project Manager in interior fit-out, renovation, or construction.
• Ability to develop and execute detailed project plans.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for liaising with clients, architects and subcontractors.
• Proficient reading of architectural drawings, specifications, and technical docs.
• Knowledge of building codes, safety regulations, and quality standards.

About the role

You will be responsible for managing and coordinating subcontractors in planning and executing the delivery of interior fit out projects.

Key responsibilities

• Assist Senior Project Manager/Director in overall project planning & site management
• Allocate tasks to team members and manage budget, tools, and third-party vendors
• Coordinate & manage sub-contractors' progress and quality of works
• Carry out submission to consultant for materials, shop drawings and method statements approvals before commencement of work
• Liaise with consultant in solving technical and detailing issues of builder works
• Attend project coordination meetings
• Verify sub-contractors, claim for works done
• Assist in compilation of handing over documents including As-built drawings & O&M Manual
• Motivate and lead the team to achieve goals, including providing performance feedback

About you

• Minimum 3 years of experience as a Project Manager in the construction, interior fit-out, or renovation industry
• Proven track record of successfully managing complex interior fit-out and renovation projects from start to finish
• Excellent project management skills, including the ability to develop and execute detailed project plans
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities, with a focus on delivering high‑quality results
• Proficient in reading and interpreting architectural drawings, specifications, and technical documents
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with clients, architects, and subcontractors
• Knowledge of relevant building codes, safety regulations, and quality standards
• Diploma/Degree in Project Management, Construction Management, or a related field
