Job summary

Synpulse is seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead large-scale ERP and finance transformation programs for banking clients. You will drive end-to-end implementations, covering core finance and procurement functions, in highly regulated environments.

You will coordinate multi-disciplinary teams, manage vendors and SI partners, and engage senior executives to translate complex topics into measurable business outcomes.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in a related discipline.
10+ years of project/program management experience, with ERP and finance transformation in Banking/Financial services.
Proven ERP implementations within banking/financial services environments.
Strong understanding of finance processes and ERP-enabled finance transformation.
Experience delivering ERP implementations covering GL, AP, AR, Fixed Assets, Lease accounting, Procurement.
Experience migrating from SAP ECC6 to SAP S/4HANA, SAP Rise or other ERP systems.
Strong track record managing large-scale, multi-workstream transformations.
Vendor management experience with SI/partners.
Experience leading RFP/RFI activities and vendor evaluations.

Responsibilities

Lead end-to-end ERP implementation programs for banking/FS clients.
Oversee ERP modules: Finance, GL, AP, AR, Fixed Assets, Procurement.
Manage migrations to cloud-based ERP solutions.
Collaborate with Finance, Operations, Risk, Compliance and Technology teams.
Oversee requirements gathering, fit-gap analysis, design, configuration, data migration, and cutover.
Manage ERP vendors, SI partners, and third-party providers.
Lead RFI/RFP activities, criteria, and executive readouts.
Engage executives and sponsors throughout the project lifecycle.

We are seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead large-scale ERP and Finance Transformation initiatives for banking clients. The successful candidate will have a proven track record delivering complex ERP implementations involving core finance and procurement functions, particularly within highly regulated financial services environments.

Job Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related discipline.
Minimum 10 years of project or program management experience, with significant exposure to ERP implementation programs and finance transformation in the Banking Industry
Proven experience delivering ERP implementations within banking or financial services environments.
Strong understanding of finance processes and ERP-enabled finance transformation.
Demonstrated experience delivering multiple ERP implementation projects covering – GL, AP, AR, Fixed Assets, Lease accounting, Procurement
Experience delivering ERP transformations involving migration from SAP ECC6 to SAP S/4HANA, SAP Rise or other ERP systems
Strong track record managing large-scale, complex or multi-workstream transformation projects.
Strong vendor management experience, including oversight of system integrators and third-party implementation partners.
Strong experience leading RFP/RFI exercises, vendor evaluations, software selection and contract negotiations
Ability to engage senior executives and translate complex project topics into clear business impact and decision points.
Understands the basics of AI and emerging technologies, with the ability and enthusiasm to adopt AI tools and solutions in day-to-day work.

Job Responsibilities

Lead end-to-end ERP implementation programs for banking and financial services clients, from initiation through design, build, testing, deployment and stabilization.
Lead ERP implementation activities across Finance modules, particularly AP, AR, GL and Fixed Assets.
Manage ERP modernization initiatives involving migration from legacy ERP platforms to cloud-based ERP solutions.
Partner with Finance, Operations, Risk, Compliance and Technology teams to translate business requirements into ERP-enabled processes and solutions.
Oversee requirements gathering, fit-gap analysis, solution design, configuration alignment, integration planning, data migration, testing and cutover activities.
Manage relationships with ERP vendors, system integrators, implementation partners and third-party providers.
Lead or support RFI/RFP activities, including requirements definition, vendor evaluation criteria, proposal reviews, scoring, selection recommendations and executive readouts.
Engage senior executives, program sponsors, Finance leaders, Technology teams and business users throughout the project lifecycle.
