Job summary

Evolution Singapore is seeking an experienced SAP Project Manager to lead a major banking transformation programme. You will oversee SAP implementation and ECC6 migration, coordinating with business stakeholders, technology teams, vendors, and external partners to ensure on-time delivery.

The role requires strong governance, risk management, budgeting, and stakeholder communication across Finance, Operations and IT.

Qualifications

• Strong experience as an SAP Project Manager in banking/financial services.
• Hands‑on PM experience with SAP ECC6 migration is required.
• Experience managing RFPs and vendor selection for large SAP projects.
• Broad understanding of SAP implementation and migration lifecycles.
• Experience coordinating multiple stakeholders and SI vendors.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end delivery of SAP-related projects within the banking environment.
• Manage project scope, timelines, budget, resources, risks, issues, and dependencies.
• Drive SAP ECC6 migration / transformation projects across business and technical workstreams.
• Manage project planning, governance, status reporting, steering committee updates, and stakeholder communications.
• Collaborate with Finance, Technology, Operations, vendors, and other stakeholders to gather requirements and ensure delivery.
• Lead and coordinate RFP activities, including requirements definition, vendor evaluation, and selections.
• Manage third-party vendors and system integrators throughout the lifecycle.
• Coordinate testing, data migration, cutover, implementation, and post-go-live activities.
• Identify risks and issues proactively and drive resolution with stakeholders.
• Ensure adherence to governance, risk, security, and compliance requirements.

We are looking for an experienced SAP Project Manager to support a major banking transformation programme. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing SAP implementation and migration initiatives, working closely with business stakeholders, technology teams, vendors, and external partners.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end delivery of SAP-related projects within the banking environment.
• Manage project scope, timelines, budget, resources, risks, issues, and dependencies.
• Drive SAP ECC6 migration / transformation projects, coordinating across business and technical workstreams.
• Manage project planning, governance, status reporting, steering committee updates, and stakeholder communications.
• Work closely with Finance, Technology, Operations, vendors, and other relevant stakeholders to gather requirements and ensure successful project delivery.
• Lead and coordinate RFP activities, including requirements definition, vendor evaluation, proposal assessment, commercial discussions, and vendor selection.
• Manage third-party vendors and system integrators throughout the project lifecycle.
• Coordinate testing, data migration, cutover, implementation, and post-go-live activities.
• Identify project risks and issues proactively and drive resolution with relevant stakeholders.
• Ensure projects are delivered in accordance with the bank’s governance, risk, security, and compliance requirements.

Requirements

• Strong experience as an SAP Project Manager, ideally within banking or financial services.
• Prior hands‑on project management experience involving SAP ECC6 migration is required.
• Experience managing RFP / vendor selection processes for large-scale technology or SAP projects.
• Strong understanding of SAP implementation and migration project lifecycles.
• Experience managing system integrators, technology vendors, and multiple stakeholder groups.
• Strong project governance, risk management, budgeting, and delivery management skills.
• Able to independently drive projects and manage senior business and technology stakeholders.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and problem‑solving skills.

Preferred Experience

• Banking or financial services industry experience.
• Experience with large-scale SAP transformation or ERP programmes.
• Exposure to SAP S/4HANA migration or transformation programmes would be advantageous.
• Experience working within complex, highly regulated enterprise environments.
