Job summary

Sciente International Pte Ltd seeks a dynamic Project Manager (Techno-functional) to lead strategic Finance ERP transformation initiatives across financial applications, planning, budgeting, reporting, and performance management within banking.

The role requires 15+ years of experience leading cross-functional Finance ERP programmes with hands-on SDLC/Agile experience, and expertise across SAP/Oracle/Workday platforms.

Qualifications

• 15+ years’ experience leading cross-functional teams and complex Finance ERP/Transformation programmes.
• Hands-on experience in SDLC and Agile methodologies.
• Proven experience delivering end-to-end Finance ERP and EPM implementations (e.g., SAP ERP, Oracle EPM, SAP BPC, Anaplan, Hyperion, Workday Adaptive Planning, OneStream).
• Strong experience with SAP S/4HANA, Oracle Fusion, Workday Financials or equivalent Finance ERP platforms.
• Experience managing RFP/RFI processes: requirements gathering, vendor evaluation, solution assessment, and selection.
• Strong understanding of GL, AP, AR, Fixed Assets, Financial Reporting, and core Finance processes.
• Proven leadership of large-scale Finance Transformation and complex technology programmes.
• Strong stakeholder, vendor, and cross-functional team management including governance.
• Excellent communication, facilitation, and presentation skills.
• Banking/Financial Services experience is mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end delivery of Financial application projects (system implementation, automation, and process improvement).
• Define project scope, milestones, budgets, and deliverables aligned with finance and regulatory requirements.
• Manage cross-functional teams including Finance, Risk, IT, and Data teams.
• Identify and mitigate project risks, ensuring timely and high-quality delivery.
• Ensure compliance with internal governance and banking regulatory standards.
• Partner with Finance leadership to design budgeting, forecasting, and MIS reporting frameworks.
• Drive adoption of standardized FP&A processes across units and regions.
• Ensure data accuracy and integrity in financial reporting.
• Translate finance requirements into technical solutions with IT teams.
• Lead system testing (UAT, SIT), data migration, and post-go-live stabilization.
• Work with BI/Analytics teams to develop dashboards using Power BI, Tableau, or Qlik.
• Collaborate with senior management, finance business partners, and IT stakeholders.
• Manage external vendors, consultants, and tech partners to ensure quality and SLAs.
• Communicate project status, risks, and benefits to executives and steering committees.
