Job summary

DSV Global Transport and Logistics is seeking an experienced and hands-on Project Manager to execute contract logistics projects, including new customer set-ups, system migrations and technology rollouts. Reporting to the Lead of Project Management and Training for APAC, you will drive operational excellence and deliver projects with precision.

You will lead all project workstreams, manage the full lifecycle from initiation to go-live, assess risks, and implement CLPA standards.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on operational project management experience in logistics.
• End-to-end project delivery including go-live.
• Leading medium to large WMS/ERP projects.
• Strong warehouse design and supply chain network knowledge.
• Willingness to travel domestically or overseas on project basis.

Responsibilities

• Lead operational project workstreams per CLPA.
• Direct full project lifecycle from initiation to handover.
• Perform Operation Project Health Checks and recommend improvements.
• Own CLPA steps, ensuring tools/templates/standards are used.
• Plan system migrations and technology rollouts (ERP/WMS).

About the position

We are seeking an experienced and hands‑on Project Manager who will be responsible for executing contract logistics projects, including new customer set‑ups, system migrations and technology rollouts. This is a critical role, reporting to the Lead of Project Management and Training for APAC. You will serve as a project expert, driving operational excellence and successful project delivery from the front lines. The ideal candidate will be a self‑starter with the ability to manage multiple priorities under pressure, ensuring every project is delivered with precision and a zero‑failure mindset.

Key Responsibilities

Project Execution & Leadership:

• Lead and support all operational project workstreams, steps, and deliverables, adhering to our established Contract Logistics Project Approach (CLPA).
• Directly manage the full project lifecycle from initiation and planning to implementation and handover.
• Conduct systematic Operation Project Health Checks to identify gaps and provide practical recommendations to local management.
• Take ownership of the steps within the CLPA, ensuring all associated tools, templates, and standards are used effectively.

Operational & System Migration Analysis:

• Facilitate the in‑depth analysis of customer data and operations to identify suitable target areas for improvement across People, Systems, Processes, and Layout.
• Plan and execute system migration and technology rollouts, including enterprise resource planning (ERP) and warehouse management systems (WMS).
• Clearly define project scope and manage risks, deriving proactive corrective and preventive action plans.
• Manage comprehensive change management plans to ensure seamless adoption of new systems and processes, minimizing business disruption.

Required Skills & Experience

• Over 5 years of hands‑on experience in operational project management within the logistics and supply chain industry.
• Proven experience in managing implementation projects from start to finish, including project initiation, planning, execution, testing, and go‑live.
• Demonstrated experience in leading medium to large‑scale WMS/ ERP projects.
• Strong and in‑depth knowledge of warehouse solution design and supply chain network design.
• The ability to manage projects for various products, including cold chain, healthcare, high‑tech, and FMCG.
• Strong analytical and change management skills with a good commercial and technical understanding of Contract Logistics.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to effectively engage and influence stakeholders at all levels.
• A PMP or Prince 2 certification is highly preferred.
• A self‑starter with a positive, problem‑solving attitude who can work under minimal supervision and time pressure.
• Willingness to travel domestically or overseas on a project basis.
