Job summary

Rongda Pacific Pte Ltd in Singapore seeks an experienced Project Manager to lead carpentry and interior fit-out projects from planning to completion. You will coordinate clients, designers, suppliers, subcontractors, and carpentry teams to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery with quality workmanship.

The ideal candidate has a diploma or degree in a related field and proven PM experience in carpentry/renovation. Strong drawing interpretation and communication skills are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in Project Management, Construction, Interior Design, Carpentry, Building, or related field.
• Proven experience in project management, preferably carpentry, renovation, interior fit-out or construction.
• Ability to read and interpret architectural, shop and technical drawings.
• Strong project planning, coordination and problem-solving skills.
• Knowledge of materials, hardware, finishes and carpentry methods.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and work under tight deadlines.
• Good computer skills, including Microsoft Office and project management software.
• A valid driving licence is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, and manage carpentry, renovation, and interior fit-out projects from start to completion.
• Review project drawings, specifications, quotations, and work scopes.
• Develop project schedules, work plans, and manpower requirements.
• Monitor project progress and ensure milestones and deadlines are achieved.
• Coordinate multiple projects and prioritize work according to project requirements.
• Identify potential project risks, delays, and technical issues and implement solutions.
• Coordinate closely with site supervisors, carpenters, installers, designers, and subcontractors.
• Arrange site measurements, material deliveries, installation schedules, and site activities.
• Conduct regular site visits to monitor workmanship, progress, safety and quality.
• Act as the main point of contact between the company and clients throughout the project.

About the role

About you
