About the role
We are seeking an experienced and organized Project Manager to oversee carpentry and interior fit-out projects from initial planning through to completion. The Project Manager will be responsible for coordinating clients, designers, suppliers, subcontractors, and carpentry teams to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and according to the required quality standards.
Key responsibilities
Plan, coordinate, and manage carpentry, renovation, and interior fit-out projects from start to completion
Review project drawings, specifications, quotations, and work scopes
Develop project schedules, work plans, and manpower requirements
Monitor project progress and ensure milestones and deadlines are achieved
Coordinate multiple projects and prioritize work according to project requirements
Identify potential project risks, delays, and technical issues and implement appropriate solutions
Coordinate closely with site supervisors, carpenters, installers, designers, and subcontractors
Arrange site measurements, material deliveries, installation schedules, and site activities
Conduct regular site visits to monitor workmanship, progress, safety, and quality
Act as the main point of contact between the company and clients throughout the project
About you
Diploma or degree in Project Management, Construction, Interior Design, Carpentry, Building, or a related field is preferred
Proven experience in project management, preferably within carpentry, renovation, interior fit-out, or construction
Good understanding of carpentry fabrication and installation processes
Ability to read and interpret architectural, shop, and technical drawings
Strong project planning, coordination, and problem-solving skills
Good knowledge of materials, hardware, finishes, and carpentry methods
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to manage multiple projects and work under tight deadlines
Good computer skills, including Microsoft Office and project management software
A valid driving licence is an advantage
