Job summary

Ming Yan Engineering Pte. Ltd. in Singapore invites a capable project coordinator to support renovation and construction projects from planning to completion.

You will work with clients, designers, suppliers and internal teams to ensure timelines and quality, while monitoring site progress and coordinating materials. The role requires a diploma or degree in construction or related field, strong communication, willingness to learn, and ability to travel to site locations.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in Construction, Building, Civil Engineering, PM, Interior Design or related field.
• Experience in renovation, construction or project coordination preferred.
• Fresh graduates with strong technical knowledge and willingness to learn welcome.
• Good communication and coordination with clients, designers, suppliers.
• Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word).
• Willing to travel to project sites.
• Knowledge of AutoCAD or related software is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Project Manager in planning, coordinating and monitoring renovation and construction projects from commencement to completion.
• Coordinate daily site activities with clients, designers, suppliers, subcontractors and internal teams.
• Follow up on project schedules, site progress and work sequences to ensure projects are completed according to the agreed timeline.
• Conduct regular site visits to monitor workmanship, materials, site conditions and overall project progress.
• Coordinate material orders, deliveries and site arrangements to ensure materials are available when required.
• Assist in preparing quotations, progress reports, project documentation and basic cost-tracking records.
• Attend site meetings and coordinate follow-up actions with relevant parties.
• Identify and report project delays, site issues, defects, safety concerns and other potential risks to the Project Manager.
• Ensure renovation and construction works are carried out according to approved drawings, specifications, project requirements and company procedures.
• Assist in coordinating rectification works, handover activities and project close-out.
• Perform other project-related duties assigned by the Project Manager.

Job Requirements

• Candidates with relevant experience in renovation, construction or project coordination are preferred.
• Candidates with limited experience or fresh graduates with good technical knowledge and a strong willingness to learn are welcome to apply.
• Good communication and coordination skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients, designers, suppliers and subcontractors.
• Basic understanding of renovation and construction processes, drawings and site practices.
• Able to work independently, manage multiple tasks and meet project deadlines.
• Good problem-solving and follow-up skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications such as Excel and Word .
• Knowledge of AutoCAD or other relevant software will be an advantage.
• Willing to travel to project sites when required.
