Job summary

Flintex Consulting Pte Ltd is seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead civil/vertical construction projects in Singapore. You will plan, schedule and manage delivery within time, budget and client expectations, coordinating multiple disciplines on site.

Ideal candidates have 10+ years of PM experience in residential/commercial sectors, strong technical knowledge of structural/architectural/M&E works, and excellent communication and team skills to meet tight deadlines.

Qualifications

• Degree or master in civil engineering or project management is required.
• Minimum 10 years of project management experience in building projects.
• Solid knowledge of structural, architectural or M&E works.

Responsibilities

• Overall project planning, scheduling and delivery within time, budget and client expectations.
• Resolve technical and site issues raised by internal teams, clients and contractors.
• Set up standard detailing for architecture, structure and MEP on the project.
• Monitor progress and expedite critical activities to meet targets.
• Coordinate internal resources and third parties for flawless execution.
• Track design drawings submissions and ensure accuracy of submissions.
• Coordinate shop-drawings approvals from trades and manufacturers.
• Obtain timely approvals from clients and consultants for materials.
• Ensure works align with approved plans, contract specs and regs.
• Ensure authority submissions and clearances align with project schedule.
• Coordinate interfacing of Structure, Architecture, ID and M&E disciplines.
• Develop detailed project plan for resource availability and progress tracking.
• Manage changes to scope, schedule and costs with verification techniques.
• Perform risk management to minimize risks.
• Measure project performance with appropriate tools.
• Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation.
• Handle all construction site matters including safety and compliance.
• Support QS in tender processes and technical evaluation.
• Provide weekly updates and report to Management.
• Escalate issues to Management as needed.
• Any other duties as assigned.

Job responsibilities:

• Overall project planning, schedule and executing the delivery of projects within time, budget, and Client’s expectations. Ensuring all projects are delivered on-time, within scope and within budget.

• Resolve technical and site issues bought forth by internal team members, client, consultants, and contractors.

• Setup standard architectural / structural / MEP detailing to be implemented on the project

• Monitoring progress and identifying critical activities to expedite smooth progress of works on site to meet targets.

• Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors e.g., Consultants and Sub- Contractors/Suppliers for the flawless execution of all projects.

• Coordinate and track timely issuance of design drawings from consultants; and to ensuring the accuracy of submissions from contractors, vendors, and suppliers for the work to be performed.

• Coordinate and track timely submissions and approvals of various trades shop-drawings

• Obtain timely approvals from client and consultants of all materials.

• Ensure that work is executed in accordance with approved plans/drawings, contract specifications and regulatory requirements.

• Ensure that all authorities submissions and clearances are achieved in accordance to the project schedule.

• Ensure seamless coordination and interfacing of Structure, Architecture & ID, and M&E disciplines.

• Ensure resource availability and allocation by developing a detailed project plan to monitor and track progress.

• Manage changes to projects’ scope, schedule and costs using appropriate verification techniques.

• Perform risk management to minimize project risks.

• Measure project performance using appropriate tools and techniques.

• Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation.

• Responsible for all construction site matters including safety and other compliance matters

• Support QS team in tender process, analyse and evaluation of tenders and in all technical specification.

• Provide weekly update and reports submission to the Management.

• Report and escape to Management as needed.

• Any other duties that may be assigned.

Requirements:

• Degree / Master in Civil Engineering or Project Management or relevant field.

• Proven at least 10 years of working experience in project management in the public and private residential, government and commercial building projects.

• Solid technical knowledge related to structural, architectural (finishing) or M&E works.

• Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multi-tasking skills.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• Excellent team player with ability to meet tight deadlines.
