Job summary

RENOEXPERT PTE. LTD. in Singapore seeks an experienced Project Manager to lead and coordinate complex engineering and construction projects from planning through completion.

You will ensure safety standards, quality requirements, cost controls, and timelines while coordinating with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and site teams. The role requires a degree in engineering or related discipline and at least five years of PM experience in Singapore projects.

Qualifications

• Degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Project Management, or a related discipline.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant project management experience in engineering, construction, industrial, or specialist technical projects.
• Demonstrated experience in project coordination, procurement, subcontractor management, manpower planning, and site execution.
• Experience with Singapore construction or engineering projects is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, execute engineering and construction projects from planning to completion.
• Coordinate with clients, consultants, subcontractors, suppliers, engineers, technicians, and site teams.
• Prepare and monitor project schedules, manpower requirements, material procurement, and project resources.
• Review technical requirements, quotations, drawings, materials, equipment, and project specifications.
• Coordinate procurement of machinery parts, materials, equipment, and specialist services.
• Monitor project costs, variations, quotations, and commercial requirements.
• Supervise site activities and coordinate technical teams to meet project specs.
• Identify risks, technical issues, delays, and resource needs and implement solutions.
• Prepare progress reports and provide updates to management and clients.
• Ensure compliance with Singapore workplace safety, quality, and project requirements.
• Coordinate testing, commissioning, troubleshooting, rectification, and handover when required.
• Manage multiple project activities and priorities with effective stakeholder communication.

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead and coordinate specialized engineering and construction projects in Singapore. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing project execution from planning through completion, while ensuring compliance with project requirements, safety standards, quality requirements, cost controls, and agreed timelines.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the overall planning, coordination, execution, and completion of engineering and construction projects.
• Coordinate with clients, consultants, subcontractors, suppliers, engineers, technicians, and site teams.
• Prepare and monitor project schedules, manpower requirements, material procurement, and project resources.
• Review technical requirements, quotations, drawings, materials, equipment, and project specifications.
• Coordinate procurement of machinery parts, engineering materials, equipment, and specialist services.
• Monitor project costs, variations, quotations, and commercial requirements.
• Supervise site activities and coordinate technical teams to ensure work is completed according to project specifications.
• Identify project risks, technical issues, delays, and resource requirements and implement appropriate solutions.
• Prepare project progress reports and provide regular updates to management and clients.

Requirements

• Degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Project Management, or a related discipline.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant project management experience in engineering, construction, industrial, or specialist technical projects.
• Demonstrated experience in project coordination, procurement, subcontractor management, manpower planning, and site execution.
• Experience in managing technical equipment, machinery, engineering components, or industrial systems will be an advantage.
• Strong understanding of project scheduling, cost control, quotation evaluation, procurement, and subcontract management.
• Good communication and coordination skills with clients, suppliers, subcontractors, and technical teams.
• Ability to independently manage project activities from planning through completion.
• Experience working in Singapore construction or engineering projects will be an advantage.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.

Preferred Experience

• Candidates with hands-on experience in specialized engineering equipment, heavy machinery, tunnelling-related works, mechanical systems, electrical/PLC systems, hydraulic systems, or industrial maintenance projects will be particularly relevant for this position.
