Job summary

Ensign InfoSecurity is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead IT infrastructure and cyber security initiatives from planning through completion. You will coordinate cross-functional teams, vendors, and stakeholders to ensure delivery on time and within budget.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in IT infrastructure and cyber security project management, PMP certification, and strong analytical skills to drive project success in a dynamic, multi-client environment.

Qualifications

• At least 5 years of IT infrastructure and Cyber Security project management experience with contract value above S$1 Million.
• Degree in electrical/electronic/computer engineering, computer science or equivalent.
• PMP certification is required.
• Strong analytical and organizational skills to delegate tasks, motivate colleagues and manage stakeholder priorities.

Job description

The project manager will be responsible in all aspects of project execution - taking a project from planning to completion, and manage the entire process.

He/she will have high level visibility and understanding of the latest IT infrastructure technologies, requirements and operations processes.

This position requires aptitude in technical as well as extensive collaboration skills with a set of diverse and distributed cross functional teams.

Project management involves setting project goals, establishing tasks and a timeline for completion by assigned parties, evaluating progress and making adjustments as needed to ensure that clients, internal or external, achieve their desired results.

Project managers coordinate project activities, budgets, personnel and work with other departments to meet deadlines and project goals within set resources and under firm deadlines.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Report to Project Team Lead of for both commercial and government sectors and has no direct report from other functions
• Support and deliver bid, project or program initiatives, lead and direct by Project Team Lead
• Team with bid manager on tender briefing, requirement, presentation and clarification on project management to bid and win project tenders
• Manage and deliver project benefits and outcomes to internal and external project stakeholders
• Ability to handle multiple projects at the same time and be able to prioritize deadlines
• Work with various groups and multiple vendors to understand business and technical requirements, priorities and constraints, and translate them into project plan
• Manage a team of IT engineers, consultants and external vendors in project execution and ensure delivery of solution meeting business requirements, cost and timeline
• Resolve project issues and mitigate project risks; ensure issues never becomes problems
• Track project diligently for revenue and status reporting to project stakeholder
• Transit project smoothly to IT operations by identifying and orchestrating handover training and support needs
• Adhere to established policy and procedures with respect to project management methodology, quality assurance and other related standards i.e. ISO9001, IM8 etc.

Requirements

• At least a Degree holder in electrical/electronic/computer engineering, computer science or equivalent
• At least 5 years of experience in IT infrastructure and Cyber Security project management with contract value of above S$1 Million
• At least Project Management Professional (PMP) certified
• Have strong analytical and organizational skills so as to delegate tasks, motivate colleagues and manage stakeholder priorities in a deadline-oriented environment
• Able to work independently and resourceful in getting support to complete task on hand
