Job summary

Rohde & Schwarz Asia Pte Ltd in Singapore is seeking an experienced project manager to drive end-to-end delivery of high-value systems in defense, aerospace, or naval communications.

You will lead budgets, schedules, and risk, coordinate with customers and internal stakeholders, ensure clear reporting and documentation, and support international projects with occasional travel.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Telecommunications, RF Engineering, or related technical discipline.
• Minimum of 5+ years of hands-on project management experience in defense/aerospace/naval comms.
• Ability to obtain Singapore Government Security Clearance (G50/CAT) for local projects.
• Willingness to support local and international accounts with occasional overseas travel.
• PMP, PMI, or IPMA certification is highly preferred.
• Excellent communication and technical reporting skills with a sharp commercial mindset and ability to thrive under pressure.

End-to-End Execution:

• Drive the delivery of projects from initial sales handover through to final field deployment.

Client & Stakeholder Management:

• Serve as the trusted central interface for customers and internal stakeholders to ensure meeting the deliverables

Financial & Risk Governance:

• Actively manage project budgets, schedules, milestones, and risk registers to protect delivery timelines and financial margins

Reporting & Documentation:

• Compile and deliver comprehensive project status reports, technical documentation, risk assessments, and executive summaries for internal management and external stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Telecommunications, RF Engineering, or a closely related technical discipline will be an advantage

• Experience: Minimum of 5+ years of hands-on project management experience, ideally handling high-value systems within defense, aerospace, or naval communications

• Security & Clearance: Ability to handle classified information securely. Candidates must be eligible for, or currently hold, Singapore Government Security Clearance (G50 / CAT level) for local project requirements

• Mobility: Willingness and capability to support both local accounts and international projects, including occasional overseas travel

• Certification & Skills: PMP, PMI, or IPMA certification is highly preferred

• Must possess excellent communication and technical reporting skills, a sharp commercial mindset, and the ability to thrive under pressure
