Job summary

SFY P&S CONSTRUCTION PTE. LTD., Singapore, is seeking a capable Construction Project Manager to oversee large infrastructure and facilities projects, ensuring timely execution and strict regulatory compliance.

You will lead a team of project engineers, coordinate with government authorities, consultants, clients and suppliers, and provide timely progress reports to management while controlling costs and quality.

Responsibilities

• Reporting directly to top management, you will have the overall responsibility and authority for the effective management and timely execution of the construction projects
• To lead and manage a team of project engineers with responsibilities in the project management of infrastructure and facilities planning & development.
• Ensure that all aspects met the government regulations and standards, including safety of works, inspections and testing of equipment and machinery, training needs of staff.
• Control and monitor work progress and ensure work quality
• Oversee the effective management of project activities to assure timely delivery and low wastage
• Overall planning and controlling of the cost of project execution
• Overall co-ordination of the work progress of large and complex project
• Co-ordination with other departments on issues affecting project works
• Liaise with government/Statutory Authorities, consultants, clients, supplier and others
• Provide timely project progress reporting to management
• Detect Project problems and ensure effective corrective measures are executed
• Other ad-hoc duties as and when being assigned
