Job summary

BYD (Singapore) Pte. Ltd. seeks a professional to provide staff assistance, oversee project management, procurement and contractual management, and coordinate technical and engineering activities within projects.

You will plan resources, prepare budgets, monitor progress, and keep stakeholders informed throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring delivery on time and within scope. Work with HQ engineers, sales, and aftersales to explain EV capabilities to customers and support product homologation

Qualifications

• Degree/ Diploma in Engineering or equivalent
• At least 5 years of relevant experience
• Interested and experience in EV

Responsibilities

• Provide professional and technical staff assistance, develop and oversee project management, procurement and contractual management, and supervise the integration of technical and engineering activities within projects.
• Accountable for planning and allocating resources, preparing budgets, monitoring progress, and informing stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.
• Plan and develop the project, ensure timely delivery within scope and budget, establish deadlines and monitor progress.
• Lead the initiation and planning of a project and ensure technical feasibility.
• Develop a detailed plan to monitor and track progress of the project.
• Coordinate with internal and external parties for project execution.
• Collaborate with HQ engineers and consult on engineering projects with training, upskilling for servicing a fleet of EVs with respect to software integration management, battery, electrical and in-vehicle systems.
• Work with Sales, engineering and aftersales to advise customers on EV capabilities and features and performance, including zero emissions and carbon reduction.
• Assist in documentation of new product/vehicles homologation approval process.
• Perform any other ad hoc duties as assigned by Management.

Job description

1. Provide professional and technical staff assistance, develop and oversee project management, procurement, and contractual management, supervises the integration of technical and engineering activities within projects.

2. Accountable for planning and allocating resources, preparing budgets, monitoring progress, and keeping stakeholders informed throughout the project lifecycle.

3. Planning and developing the project, ensure projects are delivered on time within the stipulated scope and budget, establish a deadline and monitor the progress of the project.

4. Lead the initiation and planning of a project and ensure technical feasibility.

5. Develop a detailed plan to monitor and track the progress of the project.

6. Coordinate with internal and external parties for the execution of projects.

7. Work closely with HQ engineer and in consultation on engineering projects etc with continuous training, upskilling in maintaining, servicing, and managing a fleet of electric vehicles with respect to software integration management, battery, electrical and in-vehicle system etc.

8. Work closely with Sales, engineering, and aftersales team to provide consultation to stakeholders, especially customers to enable a comprehensive appreciation of electric vehicles, in terms of its capability of producing zero emissions, reduce carbon and its features and performance.

9. Assist in documentation of new product/vehicles homologation approval process.

10. Any other ad hoc duty assigned by Management.
