Job summary

Elsa Talent Solutions Sdn. Bhd. is seeking an HSE professional to provide dedicated oversight and support across drydock and shipyard activities in Singapore. The role ensures compliance with project HSE requirements and safe work practices on site.

Responsibilities include conducting audits, SIMOPS, PTW, and lifting audits, investigating incidents, and managing contractor safety performance. Offshore support may be required as needed.

Qualifications

• Minimum 8 years of HSE experience in shipyards, construction, or offshore projects.
• Strong experience in shipyard audits, SIMOPS, PTW, lifting audits, and incident investigation.
• Experience in contractor safety management.
• Offshore experience is an advantage; NEBOSH/NIOSH or equivalent preferred.

• Conduct HSE audits and inspections at shipyards and project sites.
• Perform SIMOPS, PTW, and lifting audits.
• Support incident investigations and corrective actions.
• Manage and monitor contractor HSE performance.
• Provide HSE support for shipyard and construction activities.
• Ensure compliance with project HSE requirements and applicable regulations.
• Support offshore HSE activities when required.

Job description

Contract Duration: 6 months

Work Location: Shipyard based, Singapore

Job Purpose:

Provide dedicated HSE oversight and support throughout drydock and shipyard activities, ensuring compliance with project HSE requirements and safe work practices.

Qualification / Certifications:

• Minimum 8 years of relevant HSE experience in shipyard, construction, and/or offshore projects.
• Strong experience in shipyard audits, SIMOPS, PTW, lifting operations, and incident investigation.
• Experience in contractor safety management.
• Offshore experience is an advantage.
• Relevant HSE certification such as NEBOSH, NIOSH, or equivalent is preferred.

Experience:

• Conduct HSE audits and inspections at shipyards and project sites.
• Perform SIMOPS, Permit to Work (PTW), and lifting audits.
• Support incident investigation and follow-up on corrective actions.
• Manage and monitor contractor HSE performance.
• Provide HSE support for shipyard and construction activities.
• Ensure compliance with project HSE requirements, procedures, and applicable regulations.
• Support offshore HSE activities when required.
