Job summary

A government-linked education center in Singapore is looking for a Project & Facilities Manager to lead facility development and manage daily operations. Project & Facilities Manager

Salary: $6,500 – $9,000 + AWS & Variable Bonus

Responsibilities
Project & Facility Development
  • Lead end-to-end facility development, renovation, and upgrading projects.
  • Coordinate with architects, contractors, landlords, and authorities to ensure timely, compliant, and cost‑effective delivery.
  • Review and approve layouts, designs, and technical plans in line with licensing and safety requirements.
  • Identify expansion opportunities, conduct site search, assess feasibility, and negotiate tenancy agreements.
  • Liaise with government agencies on licensing, handover, grants, and regulatory approvals.
Facilities Operations & Maintenance
  • Oversee daily facility operations, including preventive and corrective maintenance.
  • Manage vendors and service contracts (HVAC, electrical, plumbing, structural).
  • Drive energy efficiency, sustainability initiatives, and cost optimisation.
  • Develop and implement maintenance policies, standards, and KPIs.
Budgeting & Strategic Planning
  • Plan and manage annual OPEX and CAPEX budgets.
  • Track project progress, facility performance, and cost controls.
  • Support long‑term facility and infrastructure strategy development.
  • Represent the department in management and strategic meetings.
Leadership & Governance
  • Act as deputy to the Head, ensuring leadership continuity.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop the facilities and project team.
  • Build succession plans and strengthen internal capabilities.
  • Collaborate cross‑functionally to ensure smooth project execution.
Job Requirements
