Job summary

INTUIT RECRUITMENT PTE. LTD. seeks a Project Engineer (Mechanical/ Cooling Systems) to manage full project lifecycles from setup to handover.

The role covers scheduling, resource allocation, risk mitigation, and coordination with clients, consultants, and vendors. Travel overseas is expected for project assignments within an industrial HVAC/ACMV context. You will review specifications and drawings, ensure scope compliance, and lead meetings while upholding Singapore WSH standards.

Qualifications

Our esteemed client in the HVAC/ ACMV Engineering industry is seeking a Project Engineer (Mechanical / Cooling Systems) to join their dynamic team:

• Employment Type: Permanent
• Position: Project Engineer (Mechanical/ Cooling Systems)
• Location: East
• Working Hours: 5.5 days (Mon to Fri, 9am to 6pm; Sat, 9am to 1pm)
• Salary Package: Up to $6,000 + Mobile Allowance + Travel Allowance + VB

Job Responsibilities:

• Direct full project lifecycles from setup through commissioning to client handover.
• Manage project schedules, resource allocation, risk mitigation, and subcontractor performance regarding quality, timeline, and cost.
• Review technical specifications, design drawings, and scope compliance.
• Oversee equipment installation, system startup, testing, commissioning, and post-handover troubleshooting for specialized mechanical installations.
• Serve as the primary technical point of contact for clients, consultants, and vendors.
• Lead project status meetings, process progress claims and variation orders, and deliver operational/maintenance training to end-users.
• Enforce strict adherence to Singapore Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) standards.
• Prepare, review, and submit Risk Assessments, Method Statements (RAMS), and safety logs.

Job Requirements:

• At least NITEC in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline.
• Minimum 3 years of relevant project engineering experience.
• Hands-on experience in the installation, testing, commissioning and troubleshooting of mechanical/ cooling systems.
• Experience with precision cooling, HVAC, CRAC or other critical cooling systems is advantageous.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and project scheduling tools such as Microsoft Project.
• Comfortable working at customer, construction, industrial and critical facility sites.
• Willing to travel overseas extensively for project assignments.
• Able to work outside normal office hours when required for project schedules, testing or commissioning activities.
