Job summary

JDA WMS PTE. LTD. is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead multiple engineering projects across Singapore and the APAC region. The successful candidate will manage project lifecycles from planning through to completion, ensuring adherence to quality standards and budgets.

Minimum 3-5 years of experience in Project Management, particularly in HVAC or related systems, is required. A Bachelor's Degree in Engineering along with PMP certification is advantageous. Strong communication and analytical skills are essential for coordinating effectively with diverse teams.

Job description

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage multiple engineering projects across Singapore and the APAC region, ensuring successful delivery in line with project objectives, quality standards, budget, and timelines.

• Coordinate the full project lifecycle, from planning and execution through commissioning and project handover.

• Monitor project schedules, review progress against master programmes, and prepare regular project status reports for internal and external stakeholders.

• Manage project costs, including cost estimation, progress claims, interim payment certifications, and payment responses.

• Identify project risks, delays, and technical issues, implementing effective mitigation and recovery plans where required.

• Liaise with clients, consultants, contractors, and government authorities to ensure timely approvals, documentation submissions, and regulatory compliance.

• Conduct site meetings, oversee project quality, enforce safety standards, and ensure smooth coordination among cross-functional teams.

• Support the successful completion and handover of projects while maintaining strong customer relationships.

• Travel within the APAC region as required (approximately 10%–40%) to support regional project activities.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related engineering discipline (Mechanical preferred).

• Minimum 3–5 years of Project Management experience within HVAC, ACMV, cooling solutions, chiller, chilled water, or related M&E systems.

• Experience managing Data Centre projects will be highly preferred.

• PMP certification is advantageous.

• Strong understanding of project management methodologies, project scheduling, and cost control.

• Proficient in Microsoft Project, Microsoft Excel, and other project management tools.

• Strong technical knowledge of HVAC and cooling systems with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Self‑motivated, adaptable, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment.

• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
