Job summary

J ROGER PRESTON (SINGAPORE) PTE LTD is seeking a design and project management engineer for mechanical and electrical building systems (MVAC, Elect, Lifts, Fire Protection, Plumbing and Sanitary) across residential, office, and healthcare projects.

The ideal candidate has a degree or diploma with substantial design and implementation experience in the construction industry, plus strong multi-tasking ability, initiative, and good interpersonal skills.

Qualifications

• Design and manage M&E systems for building projects across sectors.
• Attend consultant meetings and manage M&E aspects of construction.

Job description

Design and project management of mechanical and electrical engineering systems (MVAC, Elect, Lifts, Fire Protection, Plumbing and Sanitary, etc) for building projects in the various sectors such as residential, office, commercial, hospital, institutional, etc. Engineer shall be expected to carry out design work, attendance at consultants meetings and management of the relevant M&E aspects of the construction activities.

• Degree holder with about 5 years’ experience or Diploma holders with 8 years’
• experience in design and implementation.
• Able to multi-task and work in a fast paced environment
• Possess initiative, drive and ability to work independently
• Good interpersonal/communicational skills
• Experience as a consulting in the construction industry is a pre-requisite
