Job summary

J ROGER PRESTON (SINGAPORE) PTE LTD is seeking an experienced Design Engineer to lead the mechanical and electrical design for diverse building projects in Singapore. You will manage design work, attend consultants meetings and oversee M&E aspects of construction, ensuring quality and compliance.

The ideal candidate has 5 years of degree-level experience or 8 years with a diploma, can multi-task in a fast-paced environment, and works well independently with strong interpersonal skills and

Job description

Design and project management of mechanical and electrical engineering systems (MVAC, Elect, Lifts, Fire Protection, Plumbing and Sanitary, etc) for building projects in the various sectors such as residential, office, commercial, hospital, institutional, etc. Engineer shall be expected to carry out design work, attendance at consultants meetings and management of the relevant M&E aspects of the construction activities.

• Degree holder with about 5 years’ experience or Diploma holders with 8 years’
• experience in design and implementation.
• Able to multi-task and work in a fast paced environment
• Possess initiative, drive and ability to work independently
• Good interpersonal/communicational skills
• Experience as a consulting in the construction industry is a pre-requisite
