Job summary

RECRUIT EXPRESS PTE LTD is seeking a Building Management Systems engineer to design, install and commission BMS systems across projects. You will monitor ACMV/BMS performance, optimize energy efficiency, and ensure timely completion by coordinating with consultants, contractors and owner teams.

The role involves preparing shop drawings, document submissions, and supervising site activities to meet customer requirements and project milestones.

Qualifications

• Min Diploma or Degree in Electrical, Mechanical or Mechatronics engineering.
• Knowledge of Building Management Systems (BMS) preferred.
• Experience with ACMV/BMS is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Review sales handover budget for compliance with company policies and contracts.
• Design, install and commission Building Management Systems (BMS).
• Monitor, troubleshoot and optimize ACMV and BMS operations.
• Prepare shop drawings, document submissions and site supervision.
• Plan FAT, testing, commissioning and inspections within schedule.
• Coordinate with consultants, contractors and stakeholders for timely completion.

Project Roles

• Assist in reviewing sales handover budget to ensure that it complies with the company policies, statutory requirements and contract specifications.


• Assist Manager in Project


• Planning, Budget Cost Control and execution of Project


• Analyze project specifications and design


• Perform system sizing, equipment selection, and prepare BOM


• To plan and develop the project schedules in compliance with customer requirements, deadlines, and/or milestones.


• To track the project progression in the field and update the schedules regularly to ensure that the activities are progressing within the scheduled timelines.


• Liaise with consultants, architects, main contractors and subcontractors for technical matters and job execution.


• Attending site meetings and coordinating with stakeholders, customers, consultants, and planning the related activities for the assigned projects.


• Prepare and design shop drawings, document submission and site supervision.


• Plan and monitor the FAT, testing & commissioning, and inspection activities within the project scheduled timelines.


• To be involve site testing, commissioning, and system troubleshooting


• Sourcing and negotiating the material/sub-Contractor procurement within budget.


• Ensure timely completion of the assigned tasks, particularly for the handover schedules.


• Asst sales team for the variation order works.


• Maintain technical documentation, SOPs for project and ISO 19000 requirement


• As and when to take on new assignments.

Application Role

• Design, install, and commission Building Management Systems (BMS)

• Develop and implement automation control sequences, logic diagrams, and software


• Design graphics in accordance with the project requirement.

• Support energy management initiatives and drive operational improvements


• Maintain technical documentation, SOPs for project and ISO 19000 requirement

Requirements

• Min Dip/ Deg in Electrical/ Mechanical/ Mechatronics Engineer or any other relevant qualifications


• Knowledge in BMS is preferred
