Job summary

Search Personnel Pte Ltd is seeking a Project Engineer (BMS/ACMV/A&A Works) for International Business Park, Singapore. The role involves leading a team of subcontractors, planning A&A activities, and ensuring compliance with client and authority requirements.

The incumbent will prepare shop drawings, track progress, and manage testing and commissioning for A&A works. 1–3 years in relevant field is preferred; diploma/degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering is required.

Qualifications

• Diploma/Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
• 1–3 years in construction or retrofit project involving BMS/ACMV/Electrical/ELV.
• Strong knowledge of Building Services and project management.
• Ability to multi-task and deliver on schedule.
• Proficient in preparing project reports (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage a team of Sub-contractors for A&A work.
• Plan, organize, coordinate and implement A&A work timely with compliance to authorities/clients.
• Liaise with sub-contractors and vendors for quotations and POs.
• Evaluate project requirements and generate feasible proposals.
• Liaise with client's officer on A&A and project issues.
• Prepare and submit shop drawings, schedules, materials, write-ups for approval.
• Track and manage project progress and submit progress claims.
• Lead, coordinate, and execute testing & commissioning for A&A with proper documentation.
• Conduct site surveys and attend on-site meetings to evaluate installation progress.
• Arrange servicing & maintenance for active sites.

Job description

• Position: Project Engineer (BMS / ACMV / A&A Works)

• Location: International Business Park (Nearest MRT: Jurong East walking distance)

• Working hours: 5 days a week, Monday - Friday, 8.30 am - 5.30 pm

• Salary (commensurate with experience): Up to $6500 + AWS + Medical/ Dental Allowance Benefits

Main Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage a team of Sub-contractors for all addition and alteration (A&A) work

• Plan, organize, co-ordinate and implement A&A work timely and ensure compliance to all authority and client's requirement

• Liaise with sub-contractor and vendor for quotations and purchase orders

• Evaluate project requirements and generate feasible proposals for work completion

• Liaise with client's appointed officer on all issues related to the A&A and project work

• Preparation and submission of shop drawings, point schedule, materials, write-ups, and other necessary items for approval

• Track and manage project progress and submit progress claims

• Lead, coordinate, and execute testing & commissioning works for A&A works with proper documentation

• Conduct site surveys, attend meetings on-site, evaluate installation progress on-site

• To arrange and provide servicing & maintenance works for active sites

Requirements:

• Diploma/Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineering or any related discipline

• At least 1~3 years of working experience in construction or retrofit project in BMS/ACMV/Electrical/ELV

• Good knowledge of Building Services (BMS, ACMV or Electrical or ELV) and project management

• Able to multi-task and achieve deliverables on schedule

• Able to generate project reports via Word, Excel, Powerpoint
