Job summary

ZAP Piling Pte Ltd in Singapore is looking for a Project Engineer to bridge design teams, management, contractors and clients, focusing on delivering project outcomes, maintaining quality, and coordinating across civil, mechanical, electrical, or manufacturing sectors.

You will prepare and monitor projects from inception to handover, review drawings for compliance with codes and safety standards, source materials and manage subcontractors, and lead site meetings to resolve bottlenecks.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, or related engineering.
• 1–2 years of hands-on experience in project engineering, construction, or manufacturing environment.
• Strong problem-solving capabilities, organizational talent, leadership qualities, and clear verbal and written communication.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, schedule, coordinate, and monitor projects from inception to handover.
• Review engineering drawings, determine project specifications, and ensure compliance with local codes, safety regulations, and quality standards.
• Source materials, manage subcontractor performance, and allocate equipment needed for smooth project operations.
• Lead status meetings with internal teams, stakeholders, and external vendors; translate technical details for non-technical parties.
• Identify on-site bottlenecks or design discrepancies and implement corrective measures.
• Maintain logs of project metrics, progress reports, change orders, and final handover documents.
