Job summary

ENGIE Southeast Asia seeks a Project Engineer with strong ACMV experience to drive upgrading, renovation and CAPEX projects in a healthcare environment. You will oversee planning, tendering, execution, commissioning, handover and defect management while keeping disruptions to hospital operations to a minimum.

Responsibilities include reviewing designs, schedules and contractor proposals; preparing tender specs; coordinating with end-users, consultants, contractors and stakeholders; and

Qualifications

• Degree in Mechanical or Building Services related discipline.
• Minimum 5 years of ACMV and building services project experience.
• Strong knowledge of chillers, AHUs, FCUs, ventilation and BMS systems.
• Experience in testing, commissioning and project handover.

Responsibilities

• Manage full project lifecycle from planning to handover and defects management.
• Lead ACMV upgrading, retrofit, and CAPEX projects within healthcare.
• Review designs, schedules, and contractor proposals for compliance.
• Prepare tender specs, RFQs, and support procurement and evaluations.
• Coordinate with end-users, consultants, contractors, and stakeholders.
• Monitor progress, budgets, risks, quality, and safety compliance.
• Oversee testing, commissioning, and submission of docs and O&M manuals.
• Coordinate works across ACMV, electrical, plumbing, fire protection, BMS, and related systems.
• Ensure minimal disruption to hospital operations during works.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the full project lifecycle, including planning, tendering, execution, commissioning, handover, and defects management.
• Lead ACMV upgrading, replacement, retrofit, and asset enhancement projects.
• Review designs, technical submissions, project schedules, and contractor proposals.
• Prepare tender specifications, RFQs, and support procurement and tender evaluations.
• Coordinate with end-users, consultants, contractors, and stakeholders to ensure project requirements are met.
• Monitor project progress, budgets, risks, quality, and safety compliance.
• Oversee testing, commissioning, and submission of project documentation, as-built drawings, and O&M manuals.
• Coordinate works involving ACMV, electrical, plumbing, fire protection, BMS, and related building services systems.
• Ensure project activities are carried out with minimal disruption to healthcare operations.

Requirements

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Building Services Engineering, or related discipline.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in ACMV and building services projects.
• Strong technical knowledge of ACMV systems, including chillers, chilled water systems, AHUs, FCUs, ventilation systems, and BMS.
• Proven experience managing ACMV upgrading, retrofit, or CAPEX projects.
• Experience in testing, commissioning, and project handover.
• Strong stakeholder and contractor management skills.
• Preferred: Experience in healthcare facilities, building services, facilities management, or infrastructure-related projects.
