Job summary

National University Health System is seeking an experienced professional to operate, maintain and optimize the Building Management System (BMS) and ACMV services for hospital facilities. You will audit and monitor outsourced maintenance, guide vendors, and support capital projects related to BMS and ACMV infrastructure.

The role requires a bachelor or diploma in mechanical engineering with 5+ years in BMS/ACMV or FM, strong analytical and communication skills, and the ability to work across all

• Minimum five (5) years of relevant experience in BMS and/or ACMV services or facility management. (Note: Minimum 10 years for Diploma Holders)
• Good interpersonal skills and analytical, communication, writing and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Monitor, operate, and maintain the BMS to ensure smooth day-to-day building operations.
• Troubleshoot systems faults and equipment performance.
• Prepare reports on system performance.
• Identify opportunities to improve energy efficiency through BMS optimization.
• Provide technical support and training for Facilities staff on BMS usage and troubleshooting.
• To assist ACMV Trade Site Team in facilities operations such as system breakdown investigations, inspections, audits, review of maintenance program, etc.
• To oversee and guide the specialist vendors and FM Managing agent to meet their KPIs to ensure consistent performance.
• To participate and support in audits that the hospital subscribes to.
• Provide Support to KRC Masterplan Project team on the institution Integrated BMS and ACMV infrastructure system.

Overview

Responsible for operating, maintaining, troubleshooting, and upgrading the Building Management System (BMS) to ensure efficient and reliable performance of building systems, including ACMV, Electrical, Energy monitoring and other integrated services. Provide support in overseeing the performance of outsourced maintenance service provider in ACMV and BMS systems for the hospital and ensure functionality as well as serviceable at all times. To audit and monitor service standards rendered by specialist vendor and outsourced maintenance service provider. Work closely with Trade Lead in capital nature replacements, systems and ACMV improvement projects as well as to coordinate and support hospital’s A&A works.

Requirements

Qualification Required and Area of Discipline

Bachelor degree / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline
