IMPACT BPO SERVICES PTE. LTD. is seeking a Mechanical Engineer to lead ACMV systems on a large-scale medical center project. You will interpret drawings, oversee ACMV design, and ensure compliance with codes.

You will verify sizing, airflow, and performance, install HVAC equipment, and lead site inspections. Collaborative with project managers and subcontractors to meet schedules and quality standards.

Competenze

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• At least 3 years of relevant mechanical engineering experience in Healthcare/Data Centre construction.
• Understand ventilation, pressure relationships, filtration and environment validation for Healthcare ACMV.
• Good knowledge of local regulatory and code requirements.
• Experience with Building M&E services and ACMV installations, and maintenance.

Job Highlights:

Successful candidates will be assigned to a large-scale medical Center project. A leading local Construction Contractor with more than 40 years presence. Working with a dynamic team with career advancement and learning curve opportunity.

Job Responsibilities:

• Able to interpret construction engineering drawings and detect discrepancies for combined services.
• Provide technical guidance and oversight to the juniors, ensuring that mechanical systems especially in ACMV equipment are designed and installed according to project standards and codes.
• Independently verify system sizing, equipment selection, airflow, hydraulic calculations and performance requirements.
• Understand and execute the power calculation for all ACMV equipment .
• Understand specialized ventilation, pressure relationships, filtration and environment validation requirements.
• Installation of HVAC equipment's chillers, AHU, FCU, MV systems, packaged unit, VRV system and split units.
• Site test inspections to ensure quality of standards and all health & safety requirements are adhered to.
• Conduct site visits and inspections to ensure that ACMV systems are installed correctly and according to the design plans and specifications.
• Works closely with the Project Managers and site personnel in the execution of task schedule.
• Coordinate and work with the contractors, sub-contractors, suppliers, and staff at site.
• Reviewing and ensuring compliance, including drawings, reports, specifications, survey, access, and preparation of appraisals.
• Manage projects or project components, budgets, schedules, quality assurance and client feedback and ensuring effective communication of any changes/modifications to ensure cost control, maintain project timeline, manage manpower resources for the project.
• Ensure quality, sound and efficient engineering design service being reflected in project deliverable.

Job Requirements:

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering .
• At least 3 years of relevant working experience in mechanical engineering, preferably in Healthcare/Data Centre building construction.
• Understand specialized ventilation, pressure relationships, filtration and environment validation requirements for Healthcare ACMV.
• Good understanding of local regulatory and code requirements.
• Good knowledge in Building M&E services , with project site experience in ACMV Systems for M&E specifications, installations, and maintenance.
