Job summary

Wah Loon Engineering Pte Ltd is seeking an Assistant / Project Manager to deliver ACMV systems in the built environment. You will plan, execute, manage stakeholders, ensure safety, quality, cost, and schedule while complying with regulatory and contractual requirements.

You will lead project teams, coordinate consultants and contractors, oversee electrical engineering works, monitor progress and risks, and prepare reports for management and clients.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in Mechanical Engineering with 10+ years of relevant experience, or Diploma with 15+ years.
• Extensive ACMV operations experience across construction, infrastructure, commercial, residential and healthcare projects.
• Strong knowledge of ACMV systems, building services, and project execution.
• Experience in project management, contract administration, risk management, and WSH practices.
• Leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills; strong organisational ability.
• Knowledge of construction contracts and commercial management.

Responsibilities

• Lead planning and execution of ACMV projects within approved scope, schedule, budget, quality and safety.
• Coordinate project teams, consultants, contractors, suppliers, clients and authorities throughout the lifecycle.
• Oversee electrical engineering works including installation, testing, commissioning and handover.
• Monitor progress, risks, resources and costs; implement corrective actions as needed.
• Ensure compliance with regulations, codes, quality standards and WSH requirements.
• Prepare project reports, forecasts and client-ready documentation.
• Foster stakeholder relationships and drive continuous improvement in delivery.
• Uphold ethics and compliance, including anti-corruption and responsible business conduct.

Job Summary

The Assistant / Project Manager is responsible for the successful delivery of Mechanical services such ACMV systems within the built environment sector. The role oversees project planning, execution, stakeholder management, safety, quality, cost, and schedule performance while ensuring compliance with regulatory, contractual, and company requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the planning, execution, and successful completion of ACMV systems in within approved scope, schedule, budget, quality, and safety requirements.
• Manage and coordinate project teams, consultants, contractors, suppliers, clients, and relevant authorities throughout the project lifecycle.
• Oversee electrical engineering works, including installation, testing, commissioning, and project handover.
• Monitor project progress, risks, resources, costs, and contractual obligations, and implement corrective actions where necessary.
• Ensure compliance with applicable regulations, codes, quality standards, and Workplace Safety & Health (WSH) requirements.
• Prepare project reports, forecasts, and documentation for management and client review.
• Foster strong stakeholder relationships and drive continuous improvement in project delivery and operational excellence.
• Uphold the highest standards of ethics and compliance, including anti-corruption, anti-competition, conflict of interest, human rights, fair employment, and responsible business conduct.

Key Requirements

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering with a minimum of 10 years of relevant experience, or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering with a minimum of 15 years of relevant experience.
• Proven experience in handling ACMV operations for construction, infrastructure, industrial, commercial, residential, healthcare, institutional, or other built environment projects.
• Strong knowledge of ACMV systems and maintenance, building services, project execution, testing and commissioning.
• Good understanding of project management, contract administration, risk management, and Workplace Safety & Health (WSH) practices.
• Strong leadership, communication, stakeholder management, problem-solving, and organisational skills.
• Knowledge of construction contracts and commercial management.
