Job summary

GMP Technologies (S) Pte. Ltd. seeks a project engineer to collaborate with Sales on quotations, clarify technical and commercial needs, and produce engineering documentation for projects.

You will coordinate with production on fabrication, perform factory tests, and prepare weekly progress reports to ensure timely delivery. Applicants should hold an Engineering degree with at least two years' experience, be fluent in English, and proficient in AutoCAD or SolidWorks.

Qualifications

• Degree in Engineering and 2+ years of relevant experience.
• Ability to work with people and multi-task across projects.
• Customer oriented with good communication and fluent English.
• Proficient in drafting software such as AutoCAD or SolidWorks.

Responsibilities

• Work with Sales to promote Custom Solutions and process quotations.
• Identify project specs and documentation with customers and handle clarifications.
• Develop engineering documentation (BOM, drawings, ITP, testing procedures).
• Verify materials and raise requisitions for sourcing and procurement.
• Prepare weekly progress reports and coordinate with production on fabrication.
• Perform in-house testing and Factory Acceptance Tests.
• Handle other duties as assigned.

Job description

KEY ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Work with Sales Department to promote Custom Solutions and processes system quotations.
• Liaises with customers to identify project specifications & documentation requirements and attend to technical & commercial clarifications.
• Develops engineering documentation (e.g. Bill of Materials, Control Schematic, GA Drawings, Inspection Test Plan, Testing Procedures, etc…) as required by the project.
• Performs project material verification and raise material requisition to Services Coordinators for sourcing and procurement.
• Prepares and update project weekly progress reports.
• To work with production team on project fabrication & assembly requirements and progress
• Performs project in-house testing and Factory Acceptance Test.
• Other duties and assignments as assigned from time to time.

Requirement

• Degree in Engineering.
• Possess at least 2 years of relevant experience.
• Ability to work well with people and be able to multi-task.
• Customer oriented with good communication skills and in fluency in English.
• Proficient in Drafting software (Autocad, Solidworks, etc.)
