Job summary

PERSOL Singapore Pte Ltd is seeking a Project Engineer to lead defined work on moderate-complexity projects. You will follow an individual work plan, meet short-term objectives, and resolve issues with proactive planning.

Responsibilities include advising on project design, coordinating documentation, assessing risks, and supporting start-up and commissioning activities. Strong leadership, planning, and communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering from an accredited university.
• At least 3 years of professional experience.
• Experience in relevant engineering or industry.
• High energy level and self-starter attitude.
• Proficient in Google Suite.
• Strong sense of urgency in handling issues.
• Leadership and ability to operate in a matrix organization.
• Strong organizing, assessment, prioritization of tasks, risks, and resources.

Responsibilities

• Advise on the technical aspects of the Company's Project Design for large-scale projects.
• Participate in resolving technical issues in the Product Department during a project.
• Coordinate project technical documentation including engineering, customer and suppliers' documents.
• Participate in risk assessment and mitigation planning.
• Support headquarters technical support for project construction, start-up and commissioning.
• Participate in necessary project processes.
• Provide feedback to proposal group and other services using Lessons Learned.
• Support Project Engineering team and Project Manager on engineering issues and allocate required resources within budget.
• Execute design, analysis, or evaluation of assigned projects using sound engineering principles and company standards.

Responsibilities:

The Project Engineer is responsible for defined work or projects with moderate complexity. In this role you will follow an individual work plan and meets day-to-day short-term objectives and resolve issues through immediate action or short-term planning.

• Advise on the technical aspects of the Company's Project Design for large-scale projects.

• Participate in the resolution of Company's Product Department technical issues as they arise during a project

• Coordination of project technical documentation including the engineering documents, customer and suppliers' documents, and technical correspondence

• Participate in the risk assessment of technical aspects of the project and the development and application of appropriate risk mitigation measures

• Support of Company's headquarters technical support for project construction, start-up and commissioning

• Participate in the necessary project processes

• Provide feedback to Company's proposal group and other services throughout the project using the Lessons Learned Process

• Support Project Engineering team members and the Project Manager on project issues related to engineering and assign required technical resources to the project while meeting budget

• Execute the design, analysis, or evaluation of assigned projects using sound engineering principles and adhering to business standards, practices, procedures, and product / program requirements.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering from an accredited university or college.

• At least 3 year of experience working in a professional environment.

• Experience in Relevant Engineering or relevant industry.

• High energy level - self-starter.

• Google suite proficiency.

• Sense of urgency in dealing with issues and tasks.

• Leadership skills and ability to effectively operate in a matrix team / organization.

• Ability to organize, assess, orchestrate, prioritize tasks, risks, resources, milestones, and deliverables.
