Job summary

Wecruit Pte Ltd is seeking a Project Engineer to prepare, coordinate and submit project documentation and reports throughout the project lifecycle, including risk assessments, requisitions, schedules, drawings and progress reports. Assist in planning and coordinating materials, equipment and manpower resources in line with project specifications.

You will monitor project resources, budget and costs to support cost control, coordinate with main contractors, subcontractors and other stakeholders,

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in Mechanical/Electrical engineering or related field.
• Minimum 2 years in M&E, engineering or related industry.
• Good interpersonal and communication skills with stakeholders.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office; AutoCAD experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, coordinate and submit project documentation and reports (risk assessments, requisitions, schedules, drawings, progress reports).
• Assist in planning materials, equipment and manpower per project specifications.
• Monitor resources, budget and costs to support cost control.
• Coordinate with main contractors, subcontractors, owners, consultants and other stakeholders.
• Supervise technicians and site workers to meet requirements and schedules.
• Prepare and submit project drawings per specifications.
• Maintain filing and organisation of project documents.
• Prepare activity updates, progress reports and schedules.
• Assist in quotations and proposals and recommend suitable works to customers.
• Support resource planning and monitor productivity for efficient execution.
• Assist with tenders and site surveys when required.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare, coordinate and submit project documentation and reports throughout the project lifecycle, from commencement to completion, including risk assessments, requisitions, schedules, drawings and progress reports.

• Assist in planning and coordinating materials, equipment and manpower resources in accordance with project specifications and requirements.

• Monitor project resources, budget and costs to support effective cost control.

• Coordinate with main contractors, subcontractors, building owners, consultants and other project stakeholders on project-related matters.

• Supervise technicians and site workers to ensure work is carried out according to project requirements and schedules.

• Prepare and submit project drawings in accordance with project specifications and requirements.

• Maintain proper filing and organisation of project documentation, drawings and reports.

• Prepare project activity updates, progress reports and schedules.

• Assist in preparing quotations and proposals, and recommend suitable works or solutions to customers where appropriate.

• Support effective resource planning and monitor productivity to ensure efficient project execution.

• Assist with tender and quotation preparation and participate in site surveys when required.

Key Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering or a relevant engineering discipline.
• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in the M&E, engineering or related industry.
• Good interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to coordinate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
• Strong planning, organisation, coordination and follow-up skills.
• Able to work independently, manage multiple priorities and meet project deadlines.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
• Experience with AutoCAD is an advantage.
