Job summary

CITIWALL Engineering Pte. Ltd. in Singapore is seeking a motivated Project Engineer to support façade, curtain wall and cladding construction projects from planning to handover.

You will liaise with project managers, consultants and subcontractors, review drawings and progress, supervise site activities and ensure safety and quality.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Building or related discipline.
• Preferably 2–5 years of relevant construction experience.
• Experience in façade, curtain wall, aluminium cladding or glazing is an advantage.
• Able to read and interpret construction drawings and technical documents.
• Good communication, coordination and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist in planning, coordinating and monitoring daily project activities to ensure timely project completion.
• Coordinate with main contractors, consultants, subcontractors and suppliers on project requirements and work schedules.
• Monitor project progress and highlight potential delays or site issues to the Project Manager.
• Attend site meetings and coordinate project-related matters with relevant stakeholders.
• Review construction drawings, technical specifications and shop drawings.
• Coordinate with the drafting and design team on technical submissions, material specifications and construction details.
• Assist in resolving technical and engineering issues arising during project execution.
• Ensure all works are carried out in accordance with approved drawings, specifications and relevant standards.
• Monitor and supervise façade installation works, including curtain wall, aluminium cladding, glazing and other related construction activities.
• Coordinate manpower, materials, equipment and site resources to ensure smooth work execution.
• Conduct regular site inspections to monitor workmanship and construction quality.
• Ensure compliance with workplace safety requirements and site regulations.
• Prepare and maintain project documentation, progress reports and site records.
• Assist in material submissions, inspection requests, method statements and other technical documents.
• Monitor material delivery schedules and coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely availability of materials.
• Report project progress, site constraints and outstanding issues to the Project Manager.
• Ensure construction works meet the required quality standards and project specifications.
• Coordinate inspections, testing and rectification works.
• Assist in project handover and completion documentation.

The successful candidate will assist in the planning, coordination and execution of construction projects, ensuring that works are carried out safely, efficiently and in accordance with project specifications, drawings and schedules. The candidate will work closely with the Project Manager, consultants, main contractors, subcontractors and site teams to ensure the smooth delivery of projects from commencement to completion.

Key Responsibilities

Project Planning & Coordination

Requirements

• Experience in façade, curtain wall, aluminium cladding or glazing works will be an advantage.

• Good knowledge of construction methods, site coordination and project execution.


• Good communication, coordination and problem-solving skills.


• Able to work independently as well as in a team.


• Willing to travel between project sites when required.


• Fresh graduates with a strong interest in construction and engineering may also be considered.
