Job summary

TSTAR RECRUIT PTE. LTD. is seeking a Project Engineer to oversee on-site construction activities, coordinate with consultants and engineering teams, and ensure safety and quality compliance across large-scale projects.

You will liaise with multiple stakeholders, review drawings, and guide subcontractors to meet schedules. A Civil Engineering degree and 3+ years in construction are preferred, with AutoCAD/BIM familiarity considered an asset.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 3 years of relevant construction industry experience.
• Familiarity with AutoCAD and BIM is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with Architectural and M&E teams to resolve interface issues in RC and structural steel works.
• Execute construction activities per project plans, EHS requirements, and quality standards.
• Supervise site supervisors and subcontractors to ensure safe, accurate work within timelines.
• Monitor subcontractor performance and coordinate site activities to support progress.

Job description

Our esteemed client, an established MNC, is searching for a Project Engineer:

Job Responsibilities:

• Liaise with consultants, Resident Engineers, Clerks of Works, and licensed surveyors on construction activities, inspections, and site setting-out matters
• Coordinate closely with Architectural and M&E teams to resolve interface issues related to reinforced concrete and structural steel works.
• Execute construction activities in accordance with project plans, environmental health and safety (EHS) requirements, and quality standards established by project management.
• Supervise and guide site supervisors and subcontractors to ensure works are carried out safely, accurately, and within project timelines.
• Monitor subcontractor performance and coordinate site activities to support smooth project progress and compliance with construction schedules.
• Ensure subcontractors are provided with the latest approved drawings, specifications, and technical information.
• Maintain proper site housekeeping and ensure compliance with workplace safety practices.
• Monitor and inspect construction equipment and machinery to ensure they are properly maintained and operational.
• Attend consultant meetings, technical discussions, and subcontractor coordination meetings as required.

Job Requirements:

• Degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline.
• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in the construction industry, preferably in large-scale building or infrastructure projects.
• Familiarity with AutoCAD and BIM software is an advantage.
• Good coordination, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a site-based environment.

• Salary:Up to SGD 6,000 +VB (1-2 Months)
• Working Location:Ang Mo Kio/ HarbourFront
• Working Hours:5.5 Days Work,(Mon-Fri: 8am-5pm,Sat: 8am-12pm)
