Job summary

EA Recruitment Pte. Ltd. is seeking a motivated Project Engineer to support planning, coordination and execution of building projects in Singapore.

The successful candidate will work closely with the Project Manager, consultants, subcontractors and site teams to ensure that works are carried out safely, efficiently and according to project requirements. Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in Civil Engineering, Building, Construction Management or related discipline.
• Strong academic foundation with interest in project and site management.
• Up to three years of relevant construction or site experience.
• Able to read and understand construction drawings.

Responsibilities

• Support the Project Manager in coordinating daily construction and site activities.
• Coordinate with consultants, subcontractors, suppliers and internal project teams.
• Review construction drawings and highlight discrepancies or required clarifications.
• Maintain control and distribution of drawings, documents and revisions.

Our client is seeking a motivated Project Engineer to support the planning, coordination and execution of building projects in Singapore. The successful candidate will work closely with the Project Manager, consultants, subcontractors and site teams to ensure that works are carried out safely, efficiently and according to project requirements.

Job Scope

• Support the Project Manager in coordinating daily construction and site activities.

• Coordinate with consultants, subcontractors, suppliers and internal project teams.

• Review construction drawings and highlight discrepancies, coordination issues or required clarifications.

• Maintain proper control and distribution of drawings, documents and revisions to relevant parties.

• Assist in preparing method statements, work procedures and risk assessments.

• Monitor site activities to ensure works are carried out according to approved drawings, specifications and method statements.

• Coordinate labour, materials and equipment required for daily site operations.

• Monitor project progress and follow up with subcontractors on outstanding work.

• Participate in progress and coordination meetings with subcontractors and project stakeholders.

• Support compliance with quality, occupational safety, health and environmental requirements.

• Coordinate material procurement, receiving inspections and site records.

• Monitor material usage to minimise wastage and ensure materials are used correctly.

• Assist with site inspections and maintain quality, progress and inspection records.

• Prepare daily site and progress reports.

• Assist the Project Manager in coordinating consultants’ instructions, design changes and variation works.

• Perform other project-related responsibilities appropriate to the position.
  

Requirements

• Diploma or degree in Civil Engineering, Building, Construction Management or a related discipline.

• Strong academic foundation with an interest in project and site management.

• Up to three years of relevant construction or site experience.

• Able to read and understand construction drawings.

• Relevant internship, industrial attachment or project experience will be considered favourably.
