Job summary

Salt Talent Search is seeking a Project Coordinator Licensing - Compliance and Regulatory Associate for a 12-month extendable contract. You will lead end-to-end permitting and licensing for sorting centers, fulfillment facilities, and related sites across EU/UK and SEA, coordinating with facilities, construction, and operations to secure timely approvals.

• Monitor regulatory changes affecting warehouse and fulfillment operations.
• Map permit requirements for upcoming sites and align with milestones.
• Collaborate with facilities, construction, real estate, and operations teams.
• Coordinate with external consultants, legal counsel, and authorities.
• Maintain a centralized tracker for active and planned applications, statuses, renewals, dependencies.

What Will You Do:

• Lead the end-to-end permitting and licensing process for sorting centers, fulfillment centers, and related logistics facilities across EU/UK and SEA.
• Identify, assess, and manage all approvals required to establish and operate facilities, including planning permissions, building and occupancy approvals, business licenses, environmental permits, fire safety approvals, signage permits, and other local operating authorizations
• Monitor relevant national, regional, and local regulations affecting warehouse and fulfillment operations, reflecting the source JD’s emphasis on staying current with jurisdiction-specific regulatory requirements
• Proactively map permit requirements for upcoming sites and develop compliance timelines aligned with construction, readiness, and go-live milestones.
• Partner closely with facilities, construction, real estate, and operations teams to ensure applications are submitted accurately and on time
• Coordinate with external consultants, legal counsel, and local authorities to support approvals and resolve regulatory issues efficiently
• Maintain a centralized tracker for active and planned applications, including submission status, renewal dates, dependencies, and ownership
