Job summary

Salt Talent Search seeks a Compliance and Regulatory Associate for a 12-month extendable contract. You will lead end-to-end permitting and licensing for sorting centers and fulfillment facilities across EU/UK and SEA, collaborating with facilities, construction, real estate and operations to submit timely applications.

You will identify and manage approvals, monitor regulatory changes, and maintain a centralized tracker for active and planned applications, ensuring timely readiness and go-live

Salt Talent Search is looking for a Compliance and Regulatory Associate for a 12 months extendable contract role.

What Will You Do:

• Lead the end-to-end permitting and licensing process for sorting centers, fulfillment centers, and related logistics facilities across EU/UK and SEA.
• Identify, assess, and manage all approvals required to establish and operate facilities, including planning permissions, building and occupancy approvals, business licenses, environmental permits, fire safety approvals, signage permits, and other local operating authorizations
• Monitor relevant national, regional, and local regulations affecting warehouse and fulfillment operations, reflecting the source JD’s emphasis on staying current with jurisdiction-specific regulatory requirements
• Proactively map permit requirements for upcoming sites and develop compliance timelines aligned with construction, readiness, and go-live milestones.
• Partner closely with facilities, construction, real estate, and operations teams to ensure applications are submitted accurately and on time
• Coordinate with external consultants, legal counsel, and local authorities to support approvals and resolve regulatory issues efficiently
• Maintain a centralized tracker for active and planned applications, including submission status, renewal dates, dependencies, and ownership
