Job summary

8BUILD PTE LTD is seeking a Site Supervisor to support the Project Manager in supervising project sites and inspections. The role involves coordinating with on-site and off-site teams, reviewing documentation, and ensuring safe work practices on site in Singapore.

The candidate should have Interior Design or Carpentry knowledge and construction or furniture industry experience. An ITE NITEC or O-level qualification is required, with no work-pass quota.

Qualifications

• Interior Design/Carpentry knowledge and experience in construction or furniture industry is a plus.
• ITE NITEC cert or O-level or above.
• No quota for work pass or similar restriction.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Project Manager in supervision at the project site and inspection offsite.
• Assist in site project documentation and paperwork.
• Liaise with client representatives with regards to all site matters with proper documentation.
• Coordinate with offsite fabrications and subcontractors for delivery and installation works.
• Attend project site meetings when required.
• Ensure staff and subcontractors carry out their work safely.
• Monitor daily progress at the project site.
• Inspect purchased materials delivered to the project site.
• Conduct regular project site inspections.
• Supervise and assist supervisors and suppliers on installations and constructions.
• Identify quality control problems during production or site work and initiate corrective action.
• Carry out defect liability servicing of completed projects and maintain records.
• Provide information for shipping documents and packing lists.
• Perform any other ad hoc duties as assigned by superiors.

• Responsible for monitoring the daily process and progress at the project site.

• Carry out inspection of purchased materials delivered to the project site.

• Conduct project site inspection on a regular basis.

• Supervise and assist the supervisors, all suppliers with regards to the installations and constructions.

• Identify and records quality control problems during production or site work.

• Responsible for determining the cause of the quality problem and initiate corrective action.

• Carry out defect liability servicing of completed projects and maintain records of such servicing.

• Responsible for providing information for shipping documents and compounding packing list.

• Perform any other ad hoc duties as assigned by Superiors.

Requirements

• Interior Design/Carpentry knowledge & experience in construction/furniture industry will be an added advantage.

• ITE NITEC cert or 'O' level and above.
