Job summary

LIAN HUAH ENGINEERING PTE LTD is seeking a Project Coordinator to support planning, execution, and site coordination of electrical installation projects in Singapore. You will act as the operational link between site management, sub-contractors, consultants and clients to ensure daily activities run smoothly and on schedule.

The role requires coordinating with multi-disciplinary teams, ensuring safety compliance, and contributing to documentation and progress tracking for successful project

Qualifications

• Diploma/Higher Nitec or Nitec in Electrical Engineering, Building Services or related field.
• Experience coordinating electrical installation works (turnkey/A&A) on local sites preferred.
• Good baseline knowledge of electrical installation practices and MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily site activities with project managers and sub-contractors.
• Liaise with suppliers, sub-contractors, consultants and clients in meetings.
• Assist in tracking expenditures and preparing site documentation.
• Support equipment selection, material submissions and installation methods.
• Support Safety Coordinators to maintain high on-site safety standards.
• Maintain site logs, records and handovers for project delivery.

Job Summary

As an Project Coordinator, you will play a vital role in supporting the planning, execution, and site coordination of electrical installation projects. You will act as the key operational link between site management teams, sub-contractors, consultants, and clients to ensure daily site activities run smoothly, safely, and on schedule.

Key Responsibilities

• Site & Operational Coordination: Assist project managers in coordinating daily site activities, monitoring work progress with sub-contractors, and ensuring operations align with project timelines and quality standards.

• Stakeholder & Vendor Liaison: Work closely with suppliers, sub-contractors, M&E consultants, and clients. Participate in site coordination and progress meetings to resolve day-to-day site challenges.

• Costing & Administrative Support: Assist in tracking project expenditures, preparing site documentation and monthly progress claim data, and supporting cost optimization efforts.

• Technical & Equipment Support: Assist site teams and clients in verifying equipment selections, material submissions, and installation methodologies against project specifications.

• Workplace Safety & Health (WSH): Partner with Safety Coordinators/Safety Officers to implement, assess, and enforce the Project Safety System, maintaining high compliance and safety standards on-site.

• Project Documentation: Maintain systematic project records, site logs, inspection reports, and operational handovers to ensure seamless delivery.

Requirements & Competencies

• Qualifications: Diploma or Higher Nitec / Nitec in Electrical Engineering, Building Services, or a related discipline.

• Experience: Prior experience coordinating electrical installation works (including turnkey and Addition & Alteration / A&A projects) on local construction sites is preferred. Fresh graduates with relevant engineering backgrounds are welcome to apply.

• Technical & Software Skills: Good baseline knowledge of electrical installation practices. Proficient in Microsoft Office; basic knowledge of MS Project or CAD software is an advantage.

• Attributes: Strong communication skills, organizational ability, problem-solving mindset, and strong personal initiative.

• Working Conditions: Predominantly office-based, with flexibility to support site requirements outside standard office hours when necessitated by project schedules.
