Job summary

Exentec in Singapore is seeking a Project Controls Coordinator to support Construction and Project Managers in managing submittals, RFIs, schedules, and project control documentation, ensuring timely delivery on site.

You will log and track documents, prepare weekly reports, assist procurement, coordinate subcontractors, and drive closeout packages while maintaining current project information. The role requires a bachelor’s degree and at least 5 years of construction experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering, or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience working on construction projects.
• Strong coordination and documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Support and co-lead with PMs to receive, log, review, track, expedite, and distribute submittals and RFIs.
• Review submittals returned from Architect or Engineer and notify the team of potential cost or schedule impacts.
• Develop knowledge of contract documents to support project execution.
• Collect and distribute weekly project reports to keep stakeholders informed.
• Assist PM, Superintendent, and Procurement with purchasing, expediting, and receiving materials and equipment.
• Assist in preparing bid packages between field teams and procurement.
• Manage the project schedule and resolve conflicts.
• Coordinate subcontractors and manage quality control on site.
• Maintain all project documentation for the Construction team.
• Drive timely completion of closeout documents (turnover packages, as-builts, O&M manuals, warranties, training, punch lists).
• Assist with scheduling Project Team meetings and taking meeting minutes.
• Perform other duties as assigned
