Job summary

JJJOBB LLP in Singapore invites a Project Associate (Quantity Surveyor) to join our West Region construction team. The role focuses on BOQ take-offs, VO work assessment, and measurement and pricing for contract changes, ensuring accurate cost control.

You will process monthly progress and final claims, participate in contracts administration and project documentation, and manage measurement and remeasurement for subcontract payments and final accounts.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in middle management.
• Experience in quantity surveying within building/construction projects.

Responsibilities

• Take off and prepare Bills of Quantities (BOQ).
• Assess and identify Variation Order (VO) work for subcontracts.
• Provide support for measurement and pricing on contract VO claims.
• Process monthly progress claims and final claims according to SOPs.
• Attend contracts administration and project documentation.
• Take off measurements and remeasurement for subcontract payments and final accounts.
• Work out cost estimation or budgetary cost.
• Minimum 10 years of relevant experience (Middle Management).

• To take off and prepare Bills of Quantities (BOQ).
• To assess and identify Variation Order (VO) work for all subcontract packages.
• To provide support for measurement and pricing on contract's VO claim.
• To process monthly progress claim and final claim according to SOP requirements.
• To attend all relevant contracts administration & documentation for the project.
• To take off measurement - remeasurement for sub-contract's payment and final account purposes.
• To work out cost estimation or budgetary cost.
• Minimum 10 year(s) of relevant experience (Middle Management).
