Job summary

JJOBB LLP in the West Region of Singapore is seeking a Project Associate (Quantity Surveyor) for a permanent position. You will take off BOQs, assess VO work across subcontract packages, and provide measurement and pricing support for VO claims.

The role requires strong cost estimation and budgeting skills, with involvement in monthly progress and final claims, contracts administration, and thorough project documentation. A minimum of 10 years' relevant experience is expected.

Qualifications

• BOQ take-off experience from construction projects.
• Ability to assess variation orders for subcontract packages.
• Support measurement and pricing for VO claims.
• Process monthly progress and final claims per SOP.
• Attend contracts administration and project documentation.
• Take-off measurement and remeasurement for subcontract payments.
• Cost estimation and budgeting for projects.

Responsibilities

• Take off and prepare Bills of Quantities (BOQ).
• Assess and identify Variation Order (VO) work for all subcontract packages.
• Provide support for measurement and pricing on contract's VO claim.
• Process monthly progress claim and final claim according to SOP requirements.
• Attend all relevant contracts administration & documentation for the project.
• Take off measurement - remeasurement for sub-contract's payment and final account purposes.
• Work out cost estimation or budgetary cost.
