Job summary

RIDER LEVETT BUCKNALL CONSULTANCY PTE. LTD. is seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor with strong expertise in BOQ take-offs, variation orders, and contract administration.

You will support measurement, pricing for VO claims, and processing monthly and final claims in line with SOPs. The role requires a degree in Quantity Surveying (PSPC-recognised) and 10 years of hands-on consultancy experience. • Professional qualification with SISV/AIQS/RICS is an advantage

• Open to candidates with M&E engineering consultancy background

Responsibilities

• Take off and prepare Bills of Quantities (BOQ)
• Assess and identify Variation Order (VO) work for all subcontract packages
• Provide support for measurement and pricing on contract's VO claim
• Process monthly progress claim and final claim per SOP
• Attend contracts administration & documentation for the project
• Take off measurement for subcontract payment and final accounts
• Work out cost estimation or budgetary cost
• Liaise with Consultants/Main Contractors on VO and progress claims
• Liaise with Suppliers for quotations
• Maintain documentation in orderly and proper manner
• Minimum 10 years hands-on experience in consultancy
• PSPC-Recognised QS degree; professional qualification advantageous
• Proficient in MS Excel, Word, Outlook; cost/measurement software
• Good interpersonal, communication and negotiation skills
• Team player yet able to work independently with minimum supervision
• Experience in a consultancy firm is an added advantage
• Open to M&E engineering consultancy background

• To maintain relevant documentation in orderly and proper manner
• A minimum of 10 years hands‑on experience (preferably with consultancy practice)
• PSPC-Recognised Degree for Quantity Surveying (QS) Discipline
• Applicant with Professional Qualification with SISV, AIQS, RICS will be an advantage
• Proficient in MS Excel, Word, Outlook, Cost & Measurement software
