Job summary

TALENTSIS PTE. LTD. is seeking an experienced Senior/Quantity Surveyor for a 3-year contract in Singapore. The role emphasises cost management, contract administration, and robust project documentation across consultancy or contractor environments.

You will prepare BOQs, handle VO management, prepare cost reports, and coordinate with consultants, main contractors, and suppliers. Strong QS qualifications and regional experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• PSPC-recognised degree in Quantity Surveying is required.
• Professional qualifications such as SISV, AIQS or RICS are advantageous.
• Experience in quantity take-offs, BOQ, cost estimation, VO management and final accounts.

Responsibilities

• Prepare quantities take-offs and Bills of Quantities (BOQ).
• Assess and manage Variation Order (VO) works for subcontract packages.
• Measure, price, and evaluate contract VO claims.
• Process monthly progress claims and final accounts.
• Manage contract administration and maintain project documentation.
• Perform remeasurement for subcontractor payments and final accounts settlements.
• Provide guidance to junior Quantity Surveyors and liaise with stakeholders.

Job description

We are seeking an experienced Senior/ Quantity Surveyor to join our team on a 3-year contract . This role is ideal for professionals with strong consultancy or contractor experience who are passionate about cost management, contract administration, and delivering successful construction projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare quantity take-offs and Bills of Quantities (BOQ).
• Assess and manage Variation Order (VO) works for subcontract packages.
• Measure, price, and evaluate contract VO claims.
• Process monthly progress claims and final accounts.
• Manage contract administration and maintain project documentation.
• Perform remeasurement for subcontractor payments and final account settlements.
• Prepare cost estimates and budgetary cost reports.
• Liaise with consultants, main contractors, subcontractors, and suppliers on project cost matters.
• Obtain supplier quotations and support procurement activities.
• Maintain accurate, complete, and well-organised project documentation.
• Provide guidance and mentorship to junior Quantity Surveyors where required.

Requirements

• PSPC-recognised Degree in Quantity Surveying .
• Professional qualifications such as SISV, AIQS, or RICS will be an added advantage.
• Strong knowledge of quantity take-offs, BOQ preparation, cost estimation, progress claims, variation orders, and final accounts.
• Experience in contract administration and project documentation.
• Prior experience with a consultancy firm is highly preferred.
• Strong analytical, organisational, and problem-solving skills.
• Able to work independently while contributing effectively within a collaborative team environment.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills.

Technical Skills

• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook .
• Experience using quantity take-off and cost measurement software.
