Job summary

SSANGYONG ENGINEERING & CONSTRUCTION CO LTD in Singapore seeks an experienced Accountant to manage project accounting, cost control, and financial records for large-scale construction initiatives. Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Accountancy or Finance or related discipline.
• Minimum 3 years of relevant accounting experience, preferably in construction / large-scale projects.
• Experience with project accounting and cost control is an advantage.
• Hands-on ERP accounting systems experience required, including SAGE Payroll.

Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain project accounting records including AP, AR, GL and bank reconciliations.
• Prepare monthly financial reports, schedules and project cost reports for management.
• Process invoices, payment requests, receipts and other accounting transactions accurately and timely.
• Perform monthly closing activities and assist with management accounts and financial statements.
• Liaise with project teams, suppliers, subcontractors, auditors on accounting and payment matters.
• Assist with GST reporting, tax matters and statutory accounting requirements.
• Prepare payroll-related records and support payroll processing using SAGE Payroll.
• Maintain payroll data accuracy including salary, allowances, deductions and statutory contributions.
• Utilize ERP system for accounting, purchasing, payment and project-related transactions.
