Job summary

SUMMIT TALENT PTE. LIMITED is seeking an Accountant to join the finance team in Singapore. You will manage daily accounting operations, financial reporting, and project accounting to ensure accurate and timely records for construction projects.

Responsibilities include managing AP/AR/GL, monthly closes, bank reconciliations, and project costing. Prior experience in construction or related industries is advantageous, with strong Excel and ERP skills a must.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of relevant accounting experience required.
• Experience in construction, engineering or infrastructure industries is a plus.
• Proficiency with Excel and accounting software/ERP systems is essential.
• Strong organizational and communication skills; ability to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily accounting operations including AP/AR and GL entries.
• Prepare monthly management accounts and financial reports for decision-making.
• Perform bank reconciliations and balance sheet schedules.
• Assist with month-end/year-end closing to meet deadlines.
• Monitor project accounting: WIP, project costing, revenue and expenses.
• Track project budgets, variances, and profitability reviews.
• Process supplier and customer invoices; ensure timely payments and collections.
• Support GST compliance and Singapore tax reporting.
