Job summary

ACROMEC ENGINEERS PTE LTD is seeking an Accounts/Project Accountant to manage AR/AP, project accounting and consolidation for multiple Singapore projects. You will work with project managers, quantity surveyors, procurement and auditors.

Responsibilities include bank reconciliations, journal entries, GL maintenance, month- and year-end closing, GST reporting, and preparation of management reports, with emphasis on accuracy and documentation.

Qualifications

• Diploma qualification preferred with 1–3 years of experience in project accounting.
• Good command of MS Office applications.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to handle multiple projects and meet tight deadlines.
• Good communication skills to liaise with project managers, quantity surveyors, subcontractors, bankers and auditors.
• Strong organizational and documentation skills.
• Responsible and able to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Manage accounts receivable (AR) and accounts payable (AP) activities for projects.
• Monitor project revenue and costs, and assist in POC calculations and revenue recognition.
• Post journal entries, accruals, and maintain general ledger.
• Conduct bank reconciliations and support month-end/year-end closing.
• Prepare management reports and assist auditors with schedules.
• Assist with GST reporting and compliance.
• Coordinate with project teams and external parties as needed.
• Prepare consolidation of subsidiary accounts and group financial statements.
