Job summary

RECRUIT EXPRESS PTE LTD in Singapore is seeking an experienced Prototype Build Coordinator to plan and coordinate prototype builds, ensure milestones, and meet customer schedules. You will develop and maintain build schedules and track milestones.

You will work with site/factory teams, clarify engineering changes with factory engineering, and conduct readiness reviews. Travel to China or Malaysia about five times a year may be required.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Engineering required or equivalent.
• 2+ years in PCB/electronics manufacturing, NPI or prototyping.
• Experience with BOM management and cross-functional coordination.

• Perform other ad hoc duties as assigned.

Responsibilities

• Plan and coordinate prototype builds to meet project milestones, delivery requirements, and customer schedules.
• Develop and maintain prototype build schedules, tracking key milestones and identifying potential delays or risks early.
• Coordinate with site/factory teams to monitor and ensure readiness
• Work closely with factory engineering teams to clarify technical changes, resolve discrepancies, and ensure effective implementation of engineering changes.
• Conduct regular prototype readiness reviews and highlight gaps, risks and required actions to relevant stakeholders.
• Provide daily/ periodic project status reports, including build progress, material readiness, key issues, risks, recovery actions, and overall schedule status.
• Identify recurring issues and continuous improvement opportunities arising from prototype builds and follow through on improvement actions.
• Maintain appropriate project documentation, build records, issue logs, action trackers and change records.
• Other ad hoc duties assigned.

Requirements

• Minimum Diploma in Engineering, preferably in Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, Manufacturing or related disciplines
• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in PCB manufacturing, electronics manufacturing, NPI, prototype development, manufacturing engineering, or project coordination.
• Hands-on experience with BOM management
• Require to travel to China or Malaysia around 5 times a year
