Job summary

A leading engineering firm in Singapore is seeking an experienced NPI Engineer to manage New Product Introduction processes. You will act as the main contact for customers regarding engineering issues and work closely with the factory to resolve productivity challenges. The ideal candidate should have a degree or diploma in Engineering, with a minimum of 10 years’ experience in PCBA manufacturing, including experience in Bill of Materials. This role offers an excellent opportunity to influence production processes and support product transfers.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years of working experience in PCBA manufacturing process.
• Experience in Bill of Materials is necessary.
• Experience in leading NPI projects preferred.

About the job NPI Engineer(Manufacturing)

Responsibilities:

• In charge of New Product Introduction Engineering matters
• Act as the main contact person to customers on any engineering issues
• Assume the role of Process Consultant to factory
• Work closely with factory on productivity issues, evaluate issues and cost improvement processes
• Fully in charge of Product Transfer to overseas factory and product training
• In charge of sourcing for special equipment / instruments
• Fully in charge in DFM/FMEA for NPI projects
• Responsible to generate ECN and BOM

Requirements:

• Graduate/Diploma in Engineering with experience in electronics industrial
• Minimum 10 years working experience in PCBA manufacturing process
• Experience in Bill of Materials
• Experience in handling customers
• Experience in leading NPI projects preferred
