Job summary

RECRUIT EXPRESS PTE LTD invites applications for a Prototype Development Coordinator to plan and coordinate prototype builds in Singapore, ensuring milestones and customer schedules are met. You will collaborate with PCB/electronics manufacturing teams and manage build documentation.

The role requires a Diploma in Engineering, at least 2 years in related fields, hands-on BOM management, and willingness to travel to China or Malaysia around five times per year.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in PCB manufacturing, electronics manufacturing, NPI, prototype development, manufacturing engineering, or project coordination.
• Hands-on experience with BOM management.
• Willingness to travel to China or Malaysia around 5 times a year.

Responsibilities

• Plan and coordinate prototype builds to meet milestones, delivery requirements, and schedules.
• Develop and maintain prototype build schedules, tracking milestones and risks.
• Coordinate with site/factory teams to monitor readiness.
• Clarify technical changes with factory engineering teams and implement changes.
• Conduct prototype readiness reviews and highlight gaps, risks and required actions.
• Provide project status reports on build progress, material readiness, key issues, risks, recovery actions and overall schedule status.
• Identify recurring issues and drive continuous improvement arising from prototype builds.
• Maintain project documentation, build records, issue logs, action trackers and change records.
• Perform ad hoc duties as assigned.
