Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of production/application support experience across multiple technologies or platforms.
• Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to manage stakeholders, users, and vendors.
• Knowledge of ITIL practices, particularly Incident and Problem Management.

Aufgaben

• Perform root cause analysis (RCA) on application defects and implement appropriate remediation solutions.
• Prioritize defects based on criticality and plan production releases accordingly.
• Perform code development and support end-to-end testing across SIT, UAT, and Production environments.
• Support production deployments and ensure releases are completed within required change windows.
• Identify opportunities to improve system resilience, stability, performance, and scalability.
• Maintain production stability by ensuring appropriate risk and impact assessments are completed before deployments.
• Provide timely and clear communication to stakeholders on application issues, incidents, and queries.
• Support Level 2 production teams with incident investigation, RCA, and recovery feasibility assessments.
• Provide after-hours or weekend support when required.
• Comply with established SDM processes, IT policies, and operational guidelines.
• Share production support learnings with internal teams to improve application quality and reduce recurring defects.
• Ensure application and release documentation is properly maintained and updated.

Key Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of production/application support experience across multiple technologies or platforms.
• Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to manage stakeholders, users, and vendors.
• Ability to quickly adapt to different technologies, platforms, and environments.
• Able to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Good understanding of ITIL practices, particularly Incident and Problem Management.
• Knowledge of the payments domain is preferred, including:
  • Remittances and SWIFT MT/MX/ISO 20022 message formats.
  • Cross-border payments.
  • Local payment systems such as CNAPS, RENTAS, RTGS, Bahtnet, CITAD, and BI-RTGS.
• Strong technical experience with AS400, RPG/LE, CL/LE, COBOL400, SQL, and Query400.
• Experience with ALDON and IBM RDi change management tools.
• Experience with BMC Control-M, Splunk, and BMC Helix.
