Job summary

Tangspac Consulting Group is seeking an experienced production support professional in Singapore to handle complex banking applications and infrastructure. You will troubleshoot transactions, analyze logs, and coordinate across application, network, and security teams to restore services quickly.

The role requires hands-on experience with UNIX/Linux, Windows Server, mainframe environments, and monitoring tools like Splunk and Control-M.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of banking/financial services experience in production support, application support, or infrastructure.
• Strong experience in transaction troubleshooting, log analysis, RCA, and incident management.
• Hands-on experience with UNIX/Linux, Windows Server, AIX, AS/400 and/or mainframe.
• Experience with Splunk, Geneos, Control-M, monitoring, networking, VMware, backup and DR.
• Scripting/automation experience with Ansible, Shell, PowerShell, Python, or SQL.
• Strong communication and stakeholder-management skills.
• Willingness to work 24x7 shifts/on-call and weekend or after-hours support.

Responsibilities

• Investigate payment, login, transaction, card, batch, and reconciliation issues.
• Perform end-to-end transaction tracing across applications, databases, APIs, middleware, OS, networks, and downstream systems.
• Analyze logs, SQL data, monitoring alerts, batch records, and file transfers to identify root causes.
• Support SOD/EOD processing, production releases, deployments, service recovery, and DR exercises.
• Perform infrastructure troubleshooting, OS/network/storage patching, server deployment, upgrades, and capacity checks.
• Monitor applications, infrastructure, batch jobs, and interfaces using Splunk, Geneos, Control-M, and SQL monitoring tools.
• Develop automation using Ansible, Shell scripting, PowerShell, Python, or SQL.
• Manage Incident, Problem, and Change Management, including RCA and major incident recovery.
• Coordinate with application, infrastructure, network, database, cybersecurity, business, and vendor teams.
• Maintain SOPs, runbooks, incident reports, and compliance documentation.

• ITIL or relevant infrastructure/cloud certifications.
