Job summary

RecruitFirst Pte. Ltd is seeking a capable Production Supervisor to lead a large team in Woodlands, Singapore.

The role requires delivering production plans, coordinating resources, and upholding workmanship standards while driving continuous improvement initiatives. The ideal candidate holds a Diploma/Engineering degree with 2–3 years of supervisory experience in a technical environment such as capital equipment, aviation, manufacturing, or oil & gas.

Qualifications

• Proactive, strong communication and team leadership qualities.

Responsibilities

• Lead the manufacturing team to meet production plans while maintaining workmanship standards.
• Schedule and allocate resources, monitor progress, and resolve production issues.
• Report shift status to the Senior Manager and drive day-to-day operations.
• Oversee recruitment, performance appraisals, and skills training for shift needs.
• Maintain clean, safe work environment adhering to safety and housekeeping standards.
• Lead lean manufacturing initiatives (Kaizen, 5S, waste reduction) and coordinate handovers with other shifts.

Job description

Location:Woodlands (daily shuttle bus from Admiralty MRT)

Salary:Up to $6000 basic + shift allowances + OT + 4 bonuses

Working Hours:12 hours work shift (4/3/3/4 work pattern)

• Day Shift Allowance – 8am to 8.15pm (additional $20 per day work allowance applies)

• Night Shift Allowance – 8pm to 8.15am (additional $45 per night work allowance applies)

• Must be open to both shifts, rotated every quarter

Responsibilities

• Lead the manufacturing team to ensure timely completion of production plans, while maintaining and improving workmanship standards.

• Schedule and allocate adequate resources, monitor progress, and resolve production issues proactively.

• Report shift production status and key updates to the Senior Manager.

• Act as a key personnel in independently leading team discipline, shift planning, and day-to-day operations.

• Oversee team recruitment, performance appraisals, and ensure skills training is aligned with current and future shift requirements.

• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment in accordance with workplace safety and housekeeping standards.

• Lead or participate in lean manufacturing and continuous improvement projects (e.g., Kaizen, 5S, waste reduction).

• Coordinate effectively with other Shift Supervisors to ensure smooth and well-communicated production handovers.

• Analyze operational practices and recommend or implement system/process improvements.

Requirements

• Diploma / Degree in Engineering Field

• 2-3 years of production supervisor experience (must have led large teams, at least 10 pax)

• Possess practical, hands-on experience in a technical environment within the capital equipment, or aviation, or manufacturing, or oil & gas industries

• Proactive, team leading qualities and strong communication skills
